How to read the checklist

Severity tells you what to fix first

Each check is rated by the damage a gap could cause. In the audit, every check gets a result: Pass, Partial, Gap, Manual review, Informational or Not assessed. The security score weights Critical checks 4, High 3, Medium 2 and Low 1.

Scores of 85 or more are rated Good, 70-84 Fair, 50-69 Needs improvement and below 50 Poor. See how results appear in the sample report →

Severity levels

CriticalExposes company data or control of devices now. Start within 7 days.
HighSerious gap an attacker can use. Fix within 30-90 days.
MediumWeakens defenses or evidence. Fix within 90-180 days.
